With today’s announcement from our Industry partners HBPA and BC TOBA that:
- adjustments will be made to the purse account to provide a 35% owners BC-bred bonus for five years starting in 2022.;
- and for yearlings purchased in the 2021 CTHS BC sale and 2022 sale, an additional 15% will be added to the BC-Bred bonus to make it 50% for the 2021/2022 sale graduates two-year-old and three-year-old racing seasons.
The CTHS BC has decided to extend the deadline for sale entries for the 2021 sale to Thursday, May 27th to accommodate breeders who may wish to consign due to the recent announcement.
