SALES STAKES SUSTAINING FEES
DEADLINE - FEBRUARY 14
Valentine’s Day (February 14) is the deadline for Sales Stakes sustaining fees payment.
To remain eligible for the two-year-old sales stakes the sustaining fee of $200 is due on February 14, 2025.
For three-year-olds to remain eligible for the three-and four-year-old sales stakes, the two-year old sales stakes sustaining fee must have been paid last year on February 14 and $200 sustaining fee must be paid this year on February 14, 2025.
For four-year-olds to remain eligible for the three-and four-year-old sales stakes, the two-year old and three & four-year-old sales stakes sustaining fee must have been paid previously on February 14 in 2023 & 2024 and the final $200 sustaining fee must be paid this year on February 14, 2025.

2025 CTHS Sales Stakes Hastings Race Date:

All the 2025 CTHS BC Sales Stakes races for the [(two-year-olds (colts/gelding and fillies) and three and four-year-olds (colts/geldings and fillies)] will be on Monday, August 25.
Eligibility for the races include:
Two-year-olds (Canadian and foreign-bred) that passed through the CTHS BC sale in 2024 ;
Three-year-olds (Canadian and foreign-bred) that passed through the CTHS BC sale in 2023 ;
Eligibility for the races include:
Two-year-olds (Canadian and foreign-bred) that passed through the CTHS BC sale in 2024 ;
Three-year-olds (Canadian and foreign-bred) that passed through the CTHS BC sale in 2023 ;
Four-year-olds (Canadian and foreigh bred ) that passed through the CTHS BC sale in 2022
All eligible horses must have all CTHS sale commission fees, nomination fees and sustaining fees paid in full.

All Canadian-bred four-year-olds that passed through the CTHS AB, CTHS, MB or CTHS ON sales in 2022;
All eligible horses must have all CTHS sale commission fees and nomination fees paid in full.

For
CTHS BC sale graduates
a sustaining fees in the amount of $200 must be paid each year no later than February 14th
for horses that passed through the CTHS BC yearling and mixed sale. These fees are payable to the CTHS (BC Division).
Additionally, a supplemental payment may be made in the amount of
5% of the purse amount together with all outstanding unpaid nomination payments, and/or sustaining fees.
This payment must be paid in full to the CTHS BC no later than Wednesday, August 20, 2025
at the time of entry. Upon completion of such payment, horses become eligible for final payment and starting fees as set out in the nomination form. Supplemental entry took effect starting with the two-year-old CTHS Sales Stakes in 2016.
