Racing for Gold (Finality), bred in B.C. by Mr. and Mrs. E. Dittloff and K. Dittloff and racing for Rob and Bruno Fiorvento, Blair Law and Bill Randall, took to the off track Saturday and stormed to a close victory in the afternoon's feature event, a $50,000 Optional Claimer for three-year-old fillies. The winner is a daughter of Drop of Gold, an unraced mare by Stephanotis that is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner I'm Free (Free at Last), and was purchased in the 2010 CTHS yearling and mixed sale.
