Continuing his stakes-winning streak, North American Thoroughbred Horse Company Inc's local hero Taylor Said (Stephanotis), bred in B.C. by Clive and Linda Lytle and Can-A-Mex Farms added the prestigious Longacres Mile to his growing resume on Sunday afternoon at Emerald Downs. The winning margin was just a head and the final time was an exceptional 1:33.79 over the track listed fast. Ridden by Mario Gutierrez for trainer Michael Puhuch, the winner has now won his last five stakes including the BC Cup Classic in is last start at Hastings. The four-year-old gelding has strong connections in this year's CTHS Sale.

A CTHS sale purchase himself, Taylor Said has a full sister entered in the Can-A-Mex Farm consignment selling as Hip#44.
The winner's dam Fleet Amyanne, has also produced recent stakes winner Taylor's Deal (Second in Command).
