L.D.S. Enterprises Ltd's 2011 sale purchase Officer's Charm (Officer) left the maiden ranks Friday night at Hastings, winning a $40,000 maiden optional over the nursery course by 2 3/4 lengths. Bred and sold by Prescott Farms, the B.C.-bred is trained by Craig MacPherson and was ridden by Inoel Beato. The winning time was a quick :39.18 and the winner returned $6.90. The winner, out of the mare Wednesday's Out, has a half-brother in the upcoming sale by Finality consigned by Prescott Farms.
